Sorry to bombard you with Spanish newspaper articles, but there have been several articles this month from La Voz in Santiago. This one says that since the new Pilgrim office opened midSeptember in Montefort that they saw about 300 pilgrims walking the Invierno. Of those 75% were Spaniards.
The same article says 185 got a Compostella in September and of course not everyone collects a Compostella and not everyone stops in Montfort as it is a new office. The trend seems to show the Invierno is gaining in popularity though.
