Sounds so exciting, I know we did 4 Caminos and the last one was in September 2021. Just letting you know that prices have gone up quite a bit and to get a Pilgrim's meal is approximately 13 - 15 euros/day.
And I guess going to UK the prices will tend to be even a little higher. When we did Camino Frances in 2017 we could get a Pilgrim's meal for 8 - 10 euros so they have basically gone up by 5 euros/day.

I wish you luck and all the best but do have a little reserve just in case to back you up if money starts to dry up.
Wishing you well, Buen Camino!!!

Looks like kitchens are back open so you do have the option of cooking for yourself or rounding up some other new pilgrim friends and making dinner together and at the grocery store buying food for breakfast and lunch the next day. I am sure even with inflation and if you share dinner you can pay less than 13 Euros for food the whole day. Of course you still need your cafe con leche haha.
