I will return home from Porto after completing my pilgrimage. ALSA seems best for me, a bus leaving Santiago at noon. No specific date in mind, must be in Porto by the 28th but may spend another day or two in SdC or move on to enjoy Porto meaning that I can't preorder by date from home by Internet. I don't really want to hoof it out to the bus station just to guarantee a seat on the bus and then hoof it back again the next day to travel. Where in central SdC is there an agent for ALSA who can save me the hike? Can any travel agent do this for me? Thanks

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
I just booked my bus ticket to Porto after I had arrived in Santiago over the internet. Alternatively, depending on the time of the year, there is an Alsa Office in the same building as the pilgrims office. Buen Camino, SY

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
As others have said the Pilgrim Office...or failing that, perhaps go to Pilgrim House and see if Nate and Faith (or their staff) can help.

I had the ALSA app on my phone , I think I just pre-booked on it. Paid in the machine on the morning at the bus station ...

The bus line 5 will take you to the bus station for a euro each way. The stop I usually use is in Plaza de Galicia in front of the hardware store (ferreteria)
If you look at the sign by the stop then you will see one for Bus Vite and that will give you the approximate time until it arrives.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
