A Call for Updates for the Lisbon-Porto CSJ Guide

Hi, everyone,

In 2009, I put together the online CSJ guide for Lisbon to Porto. Johnnie Walker has issued the alert that it's time for revisions, hence this call for help. I know that there have been changes since the original guide appeared, not the least of which being that there are now two albergues SOUTH of Porto!

I also know that the amazing group of Lisboetas called the Via Lusitana has taken over the task of keeping the arrows up to date and well painted, so I am also assuming that the sections where I describe getting lost in eucalyptus forests and another place or two may well be fodder for the trashbin. But I'd love to hear from peregrinos who have walked it recently so I can get first hand reports.

So if you have recently walked from Lisbon to Porto, whether or not you used the online guide, I'd be most appreciative of any relevant comments or suggestions or special tips you might have. I know how quickly first-hand knowledge gets out of date, so we've got to rely on a continuing stream of information to keep these things current. Many thanks in advance, and bom caminho, Laurie

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Laurie: can't help you between Lisboa and Porto but I have John's guide for Porto to Santiago--will make notes, etc. as I go. Will be taking this Camino a lot slower than last time--no more of those 23 mile days back to back. So hopefully will have more time to take notes, notice, and so on.
