We will be arriving in Ferrol late tomorrow and plan to stay the next day to do laundry and explore as we have not been there before; we start walking on Saturday. Any suggestions- what to do, where to eat etc.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

There's a naval museum, but I seem to remember that the opening times were very limited. A walk round the marina was pleasant. Mass in the cathedral. A nice place to wander around looking at the architecture
We had a menu del dia just opposite the tourist information in the centre of town at the Cafe Avenida. Very friendly. We also had the thickest hot chocolate ever at a place at the top end

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-

Have a drink at the Parador and large free tapas. Naval Museum is free. Get your passport and stamp at marina near 0km marker and walk the Camino Ingles (might need a few extra days)!

For breakfast and coffee/ tea.
Some Portugal in Ferrol.

Museo Navantia.

Enjoy.
We had a second breakfast after laundry- cafe con leche and pasteles de nata. If they are open tomorrow as we walk past we’ll stop for some to go.

Beautiful walking weather on the Camino Ingles today
On one of the FB forums, someone asked about detouring to Fragas do Eume, just outside of Pontedeume, and it looks amazing. Since I'm splitting up Ferrol - Pontedeume into two days (taking the...
