I walked from Pamplona to Astorga, my seventh camino.
It was a very strange experience with very few other pilgrims, often seeing only 4 or 5 a day, many albergues are still closed ,even in the large albergue in Sahagun there was only one other pilgrim.Hardly any internationals, some Spanish day trippers at weekends.
Unfortunately on many stretches the majority are mountain bikers using the camino path as a racetrack as mountain biking becomes ever more popular.
In other places the path has become almost overgrown.

Before León we were lucky to encounter 12-15 others in a given day. Since León it's more like 20-25 others. It's very quiet...
