- Time of past OR future Camino

So, I am a windowed mother of two beautiful grown girls. When I made the decision this past summer to walk the Camino after watching "The Way," I told both girls... they had mixed reactions.
Youngest: Okay... who are you going with?
Me: nobody. I'm going to do this on my own.
Youngest: ARE YOU NUTS!
Me: possibly... but I have to do this, so I'm doing it.
Oldest: Okay Mom, have fun.
A few months later, I sat with my oldest daughter and watched "The Way" with her... Halfway through the movie she turns to me and says, "Wait, THIS is what you're doing?!?" I said, "Yep," with a wide grin on my face feeling the excitement even back then.
Her response....
"I thought you were driving an El Camino across Spain! I was thinking, Okay, if Mom wants to drive a crappy car across Spain, who am I to say no!" I laughed so hard I cried!
We have since had a couple conversations, she was worried at first, but trusts Mom to be smart. The youngest still isn't won over but she's resigned to the fact that this is something I HAVE to do. I still chuckle about the crappy car though
