€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Anyone walking at those times should get ahead or behind these groups.

Those numbers can change the whole dynamic of a town/albergue, public or private.
I have been in sync with a big group in the past and had to get out of sync quickly to avoid hassles.

Good for them and more power to them...but you don't want to be in the middle of it if you can avoid it.

The participants will embark on the Camino in two groups, one from September 11 to 18 and another from September 18 to 25.
The article proudly mentions 800 km of Camino, but doesn't divulge how each group intends to conquer this distance in 1 week. How should we, earthly pilgrims, interpret "embark" :?: By helicopter:?:
When might each group be expected where :?: They'll most probably be around Santiago's Obradoiro on September 18 and 25  And... have a hard time to change the dynamics worse than during last holy year

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I missed that they were apparently only walking for a week.
From the organiser's website:
In order to raise funds for the over 1,000 children and adults with a disability which Inspire helps in Malta and Gozo, the foundation is organising a communal walk for the last 100km of the pilgrimage, starting from Sarria in Spain. The full pilgrimage spans some 800km.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
In June/early July I came across a few large groups walking. There were groups of Scouts, and also what appeared to be church youth groups. Everyone still seemed to find places to stay in Spain. It was more of an issue in France where there is less space in gîtes, and groups who had usually reserved well ahead of time could easily fill the gites up.
