Guardian article:

"Madrid’s new museum is a modern mecca for old-world art lovers

Five centuries of royal collections will go on display in the Spanish capital next month [Ed: the article mentions 2023-June-28] in a long-awaited £146m project"

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
OMG, I was just talking to my partner (we are both museum-lovers): "When we go to another camino, should we land in Madrid? What haven't we visited there yet?"
Well, now I HAVE to sort it out. The universe is calling :D

Wow, thanks for this info. It looks like they are ready to go. I will miss it by a few weeks!

I was interested to see that construction was halted due to the discovery of remains of the 9th century moorish walls. Visitors will be able to see those walls on the ground floor of the museum.

Located right near the Royal Palace and the Cathedral. I have to admit I’m not a huge fan of either of those places, but this new addition to the area looks pretty great.

The museum is run by Patrimonio Nacional and has brought together pieces from many royal sites. There’s lots of info about the collection, the project, and a gallery of photos of major pieces on display:
