This article reports that it will have 60 beds, be located 200 m ”off camino” .

2.6million € grant from EU, which is projected to take care of most of the cost.

Opening date, hopefully spring 2024.

I don’t know about the coordinates, but if you plug “deposito aguas Zabaldibe Bilbao” into google maps, you’ll see the location. The albergue is going to be built at a vacant building that was used for administrative offices in an area with a water tank, “deposito de aguas.”

I recall visiting Bilbao and staying in Ganbara Hostel, this was several years before I walked my first Camino!
At breakfast one morning, I was intrigued listening to 2 young pilgrims debating which route to take!
When nether could agree, 2 older Spanish gentleman intervened, unfolding a giant map and proceeded to show them their personal recommendation!
