I am searching high and low for information about this.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Has anyone heard this before?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! Bill,

Of course, I have heard about this program and others from other countries.
I have met quite a few parties walking the caminos under this program.
I had the chance of having dinner with someone responsible for it when I was hospitalero in Santander on the Camino del Norte.
I think I could find an email address for you if you're interested.

Cheers,
Jean-Marc

The Alba (Oikoten) program is to rehabilitate juvenile deliquents - not really criminals. They have been in operation since the early 1980's and have had a good success rate over the years.

If you are interested in how that works you can contact:

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I had wondered if anyone out there has been in touch with someone from the French organization Seuil- that also works with troubled youth and guides on their walk to Santiago, with the hope that it will aide in getting them on the right path.

With Gratitude,
Bill
