A week from St Jean in late April

Hello fellow forum members.
I am planning to walk from St Jean in mid to late April. I will only have a week/10 days max. My question is...how far should I plan to go in a week. Last July I walked from Sarria to Santiago with Camino Ways, (one week) but this time I want to experience the 'real Camino', staying in the Alberques etc.

Any advise on flights and return routes home would be most appreciated. I'll be travelling from Dublin.

You may be able to reach Logrono in seven days; Santo Domingo de la Calzada in ten days. Both have bus service to Madrid.

We are doing this mid may.
Dublin to Biarritz then to SJDP.
Intend to walk as far as Logrono in a week and then bus to Bilbao and flight back to Dublin.

I took the bus from Madrid to Logrono a couple of years ago and the scenery was great.
