3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
We will be staying in Pamplona for our first night in Spain after traveling from the U.S. Does anyone have a suggestion on where we can stay-- preferably low- mid cost hotel- where we can get a good nights sleep but be with walking distance to the bus station so we can get to Roncellvelles the next day? Suggestions please-- and thanks!

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I have stayed here a couple of times:

Like falcon, I've stayed at the Bearan a number of times. Great location. And across the street from it is a bar/restaurante called Basseri. Eat there! The dining room (all the way at the back through the bar) has excellent food. There are a couple of menus del dia that are a bit more pricey than the average pilgrim meal, but really good.

Buen camino, Laurie
