Repouso do Peregrino is a bit of a walk into town, but is right on the Camino and has nice private rooms. And breakfast, as I recall.

After albergue, walk approx 50-100 meters, right hand side. Private home. 3 rooms to rent. Ask for Maria. Most kind abuela.
Stayed there in May 2014. Simple and clean. Shared bath. Was only person there.

And in addition to here above mentioned information :
If you descend from Portela de Alto Grande mountain and arrive at the beginning of the village Rubiães at the left nearby a crossing of roads is pensão São Roque.
They rent rooms for pilgrims. This place is about 2 to 3 kms from the center where is a restaurant. The owner of São Roque supplies a surprising service. If you like to go to the restaurant, she phones for you and you will be picked up and brought back by car by an employee of the restaurant.

By the way when descending the Portela de Alto Grande there are signs of another privat accomodation . I haven't been there but spoke to other pilgrims who did.
It is a place with a swimmingpool and a kind of bread and breakfast.

Yes. Look for the B&B, may also be considered an albergue, just a little down hill from the little bar adjacent to the large albergue. Maria, speaks no English, is the proprietor, and will wash your clothes for free.

You're getting this reply too late but perhaps itl be helpful to someone else. Last year July we arrived at Nino (Nina?) alburgue exhausted, having almost lost our adult son (who is on the autism spectrum) on the trail that afternoon and after passing 3 other full albergues. Our hostess was most welcoming and had a big friendly dog and a small filly in her back garden. The 4 of us had our own room and all of our troubles seemed to evaporate after a few minutes at this lovely alburgue.

A few kms past Rubiaes is Pilger's Pause, a wonderful haven.

It has the hostel Constantino in S. Roque, with private rooms, very simple, economic and with transportation for restaurant.
The lady washed and dried our clothes very attentive.

Last year stayed in a sweet little house run by a grandmother. I think the place is called Casa Sao Sebastio
or Sebastian. It's on Booking.com. Just to the right of the Municipal Albuergue behind the store. You can also ask at the store. 3 private rooms for 2 or 3 people each room. I think 7 Euro per night.
