Hi, anyone stayed in the Albergue in Santa Marina recently. I had no luck emailing or phoning them. Maybe they are closed? We are looking for one single room and 1 bed in a dormitory for end of March date- Albergue Casa Pepe booked on our date. Any suggestions for accommodation towards Castro-Opcion? As always really appreciate your suggestions and taking the time to reply.

Hola, Skol,

I stayed in Albergue Santa Marina in beginning of August last year. The contact info I had was:
Santa Marina 14
981-852-897 (land)
653-626-864 (cell)
casaantelo@gmail.com

I phoned ahead on the day of arrival but don't remember on which number. Albergue itself is the last building on the main street and owners have a restaurant (second one as the first doesn't offer accoommodation), you can't miss it. One large bedroom (6 beds) and bathroom in the attic, one smaller bedroom with 2 bunks, bathroom and equiped kitchen on the ground floor, patio. Price was 10€.
Nice owners, a couple, she's Spanish I believe and he's expat (English?, don't really remember).
Very close are two restaurants and panaderia where you can also buy some other food.

I have some photos of the place and can attach them if you're interested.

Ultreia!

Thank you for that question....answered for me too, for May finishing off Camino to Muxia from Santiago.

My husband and I would like to spend a night in Muxia after walking to Santiago but don’t have time to walk there. Rome to Rio says there’s busses twice daily, but if you go to the Monbus website...
