Accommodation in St. Jean Peid de Port

We will be arriving in St. Jean Peid de Port on Aug 23, 2009 from Canada - jet lagged. We were thinking of booking a B&B or local hotel/inn for the night of the 23rd so that we can start well rested on the 24th. I found one cute B&B, Maison E.Bernat, but they are full. There are few hotels but no info. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions??? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I can't believe that my time has almost come!!!!

Thanks,

Rowena

Re: Accommodation in St. Jean Pied de Port

Hi Rowena!
We stayed the first night at the hotel Ramuntcho in the old city in SJPP. Was about 30 € per person with breakfast http://fr.federal-hotel.com/hotel_hotel ... _16707.htm
Or you can contact B&B in SJPP http://www.errecaldia.com/
Maybe a another hotel on this booking site for France http://www.logis-de-france.fr/fr/index.htm

Walked to Orisson the first day and stayed at the hostel there, about 30 € with dinner and breakfast http://www.refuge-orisson.com/index.html.

Have a good time on your camino and nice walking!
If you are going to walk all the way to Roncesvalles leave as early as you can when you start fom SJPP.

Buen camino
