Hello 😎 We’ll be walking from Borce toward Somport Pass on Wednesday. Is Canfrac-Estacion the closest accommodation?
Does Aysa at Col still open? I’ve been unable to contact Aysa. Thanks 🥾🥾

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
J is correct! I just hiked Somport to Canfranc Pueblo today and will post separately about it. Aysa is currently not accepting overnighters, though their cafe and store were open today. That may all change tomorrow per the man running it today, but he said there is no plan - it’s all day to day….

As a pilgrim, I would encourage you to make it all the way down to Canframc Pueblo and stay with us at the nearly new donativo alberbue. It’s a bit of a trek from Borce (I’ve walked it!), but it’s all downhill from Somport and they’ve shortened the route a bit (Somport to Pueblo is about three hours). We have room and would love to host you.

If that IS too far, than the closest accommodation would be one of the ski resort hotels in Candanchu (open for now due to the recent storm extending the ski season), followed by the Santa Cristina Hotel and then multiple places in Estacion.
