Made a last minute decision to walk from Porto to Santiago. I’m arriving in Porto May 29 and having trouble finding accommodations . Would love suggestions!

I really like the Boa Vista, it is right at the mouth of the Douro and the ocean, you can walk the ocean route from there - but by the river I love Homey - a small inexpensive hotel.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

I second Blue Sock Hostel. I'm not sure how you are booking you accommodations, but if it is on "Booking.com" or another similar sight, remember they don't get all the beds/rooms. Try and go directly to the hotel/hostel website or sometimes you can message them on Facebook.

I would highly recommend this pilgrim albergue: https://albergueperegrinosporto.pt/. The host, Miguel, is lovely. There is a complete kitchen and lovely garden where you can relax (and, if interested, enjoy fresh produce). The albergue itself is a bit removed from the city's main sites but the distance is easily walkable. It is a large and very clean facility.

Thanks so much for the recommendations! I have rooms booked for May 29 and 30. Looking forward to starting my walk on May 31.
