Accompanying someone walking the Finesterre route by taking the bus

Camino Frances - August - September 2015
My husband and I will be walking the CF in August and September and he wants to walk from Santiago to Muxia and Finisterre in four days afterwards.

I don’t want to walk it, but would be interested in taking the bus to meet him in the town where he is staying each night. Is it possible to take the bus and how often would they run? Are there alberques where we could stay considering I am not walking the route?

If it is not possible, I was thinking of spending two nights in Santiago with a day trip to A Coruna and one in night Finisterre before we meet up on the 4th day. Does anyone have any suggestions for convenient day trips out of Santiago?

Busses run very often back & forth from Finnesterre & Santiago, When you arrive in Santiago get a map so you can walk to the bus station. You can get a schedule there. 4 days will be a push to do that route. Personally I would plan 5 days.
Finnesterre is a very pretty place, good places to stay.

My husband and I would like to spend a night in Muxia after walking to Santiago but don’t have time to walk there. Rome to Rio says there’s busses twice daily, but if you go to the Monbus website...
