Hi
I am commencing walking from Le Puy on 15 September and expect to reach SJPP around 18 October. I want to send parcel (clothes) from Le Puy to SJPP to be available on my arrival. Can anyone advise details of where I can send it to?

Many thanks
Susie

Poste Restante
64220 St Jean Pied-de-Port

Susie,

The address for your parcel care of Poste Restante is the equivalent of General Delivery at the post office. Your name as it is on your passport should be written on the label at the top of the mailing address. The full address for pick up is La Poste, 1 Rue De La Poste, 64220 St Jean Pied-de-Port. Their hours are 9-12 and 14-17 daily and only 9-12 Saturday.

Unfortunately in France parcels at the La Poste are generally held only for 2 weeks before they are returned to the sender. You can inquire at la Poste in Puy-en-Velay at 49 Boulevard Saint-Louis. Their hours are 9-12 and 13:30 to 17:30 daily and only 9-12 Saturday.

Bon chance and Buen Camino,

Margaret
