Advice on how to get from Barcelona to SJP

I will be walking the CF in Sep/Oct and am flying into Barcelona landing in the late afternoon on a Saturday. I would love to start my hike on Sunday leaving from SJP. Any advice on the quickest way to get there from Barcelona?

Quickest? Take the early a.m. flight from BCN to San Sebastian then taxi (125e) to St Jean.
ps: other question. Wear running/trail shoes. It shouldn't (?) be too wet then.

Suggest to take time to see Barcelona before heading out. Beautiful city. Enjoy
