FYI: On national Norwegian TV today, the airline Norwegian (NAS) announced that it will terminate all intercontinental flights. From now on, they will only operate flights in Europe. This comes as a consequence of Covid, and will impact for a long time.

This may be a tough economic blow to future travel plans for many pilgrims.

They have had problems out of USA...cancelling flights at last minute, etc. ...before covid!

I received and email from them today. I used them twice from California to Madrid. Overall very good. Never on time, but the price was excellent and the 787s were very clean and comfortable. I’m disappointed.

I flew Norwegian to Madrid a couple of years ago from Chicago. It was a very reasonable priced flight. The only negative was no meals were included and there was price gouging to add them in. I chose to bring my own snacks as I am not usually very fond of airline food anyway.
That said, I will still miss seeing them as one of the more reasonable options for international travel.

We used them once (Oakland to Madrid) but the experience was not the best. Since we had a fairly lengthy layover in Oslo we booked into the "business" class which we thought would get us into the business lounge in Oslo. But no, we were told that because there was no business class on the Oslo-Madrid sector we could not use the business lounge, even though we had been upgraded all the way from the US. That was pretty cheesy to us, particularly because there was no mention at the time we booked and paid a premium price for a better class that it would not be for the entire itinerary. So I can't say I'm very sorry to see them go, except for the employees who may lose their jobs.
