Airport bus leaves from different location

Nunca se camina solo
Hola

As of yesterday airport buses now leave from the Plaza Galcia starting at 6am and running every 30 mins. There is a stop at the train station - actually right outside of the the station and then a stop at the bus station. The stop at the bus station is 10 mins after departure from the Plaza Galica. The cost has gone up slightly - it remains 3€ for a one way but is now 5.10€ for a return.

Please not that you should now leave 45 mins for the journey.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Thanks John. Do you know if the journey time is still around 30 mins?

Can you explain this a bit more for us Noobies?

Is there no bus from the airport anymore to Lugo and Sarria?

Hi Ascensions.

As far as I know this change just relates to the airport bus from Santiago city centre. I caught it on Sunday and it goes around the city centre a bit more, which has extended the journey time from 30mins to about 45mins. They still leave every half hour on the half hour.

Buen Camino!

So this would be when leaving, if I understand correctly?

I'm flying in on Thursday, and I'm still feeling very confused over the matter.

My understanding is there should be a bus from the airport, directly to Lugo? Then one from there to Sarria where I'll begin?

If anyone has a visual guide (photos) of what I'm looking for, that would be awesome!

My Spanish is a bit rusty, how prevalent will English be if I get in a bind?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

The post below is fairly recent and shows the times of buses leaving from Santiago centre, then the airport, and arrival time in Lugo. It also shows connections to Sarria.

The changes in bus times relate only to the local shuttle buses which go from the city centre to the airport and back. You'll be catching an inter-city bus, which I believe starts in Santiago bus station (just outside the centre), stops at the airport, then continues to Lugo and possibly beyond.

The airport has signs in Spanish and English, and I'm sure has an information office where the staff will speak English. I'm pretty sure the terminal in Santiago is brand new as I didn't recognise it from previous trips so any photos may be out of date.

Buen Camino!
