A few days ago we stayed in the private albergue in Caravia. We felt that the hospitalero in every way tried to get money of her guests and so make profit of the fact that the Albergue in La Isla is closed.
Trying to bill drinks twice, making problems if people tried to share the washing/drying machine and so on.l
The worst was that the Peregrino who made a reservation for us, was asked to give his creditcardnumber ( which in itself is strange)
We all paid cash, but the money for three beds was also charged to the credit card.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
the Peruvian Bar Albergue who owns the hostel only thinks about money when a pilgrim appears, her goal is to make money, she makes 100,000 things at the same time but leaves the counter unattended to do anything that gives her more money, I ordered the menu at 3 o'clock and until 4.30 pm she did not bring me the menu, she does not let you share the washing machine with other pilgrims commenting that the drum is small, which is not true, she made me pay for the bed in advance but I had some negative comments she expelled me from the albergue , this albergue is still under construction and looks like a stable of horses, regards antonius

I thought I had this all figured out, but I have ended up with 2 train tickets from San Sebastian (I don't even know if it's the airport or the town) to Irun, instead of ONE that goes all the way...
I use Alltrails a lot here in the US, in Iceland, on the Via Podiensis and a bit on the CF. Will it be useful on the Norte? For example, people here say the "warm up" from Biarritz to Irun (or...
