Albergue de Alcantara currently closed

The Albergue de Alcantara is currently closed due to contaminated water. There is a sign on the road with a telephone number for a taxi to Canaverale. We walked the extra 10km to Canaverale, but our feet are still suffering 2 days later. We are finding the hostels and albergues to be very busy during the Easter festas and there are limited bus services. But friendly people in these towns are finding us a bed in Canaverale, Galisteo and Carcaboso. We are enjoying the hospitality of Javier at Carcaboso.
