Re: Albergue Granxa de Barreiros not direct on the Camino

Hello.
When I locate this refuge on Google maps it is in the lonlyness near Sarría.
But it seems to lie a stretch away from the Camino.
Who has been there and can us inform?

Jochen is correct; the 'stretch' appears to be 900 meters! On their own schematic map the location of the albergue/hostel is marked 900 meters north of the Camino. >> http://www.granxadebarreiros.com/es/cur ... eiros.html. This is marked on their schematic map as at the junction of CP57-09 and LU633, long/lat N 42.989, W 27.586.

El camino en bicicleta pasa por la puerta, el marcado da Serra está a 900 m. Si llamais al teñefono os recogemos en coche de modo gratuito. Buen camino
Hello.
I tried some translation programmes but all failed. :( :(
Can someone translate this into English please?

"Der Weg für die Radpilger führt vor der Tür vorbei. Die Markierung 'da Serra' ist 900 mts entfernt.
Wenn ihr anruft, holen wir euch mit dem Auto ab."

(Sorry - into German rather than English)

The camino for bikes passes by the gate, the direction 'da Serra' is 900 m further. If you telephone we will drive to collect you free of charge. Good road.

But I notice that their web site says the albergue is closed when they have camps or schools visiting.
