On the excellent list and in Brierley's guide there is supposed to be an albergue in Asseiceira. On googlemaps I can't find it. Has anyone slept there? Number of beds? Cost? I'm walking with my mother and we are trying to do shorter days where possible.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Hi, I looked for it when I walked through in October 2018 and there was most definitely no albergue there then. Gronze also does not show that there is an albergue there https://www.gronze.com/etapa/golega/tomar

The new albergue in Asseiceira was officially opened on 19 October 2019.

I stayed there a couple of days later. I went to to one of the local cafe bars - Cafe Terraca - for a coffee and was told about it and encouraged to stay. Locals are very friendly and helpful.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
But still not showing on Gronze:

Hello, my friend of 50+ years and I are on our first Camino walk. We are looking for: 1) safe, comfortable hostels in Lisbon; 2) stages from Lisbon to Porto (via Tomar) in about 16 days...
