Hello all,
I am wondering if anyone knows of a good resource for information on albergues that I can bring with me, or just research ahead of my trip. So far I have only found minimal information - bed, cost, facilities. I wanted to have something that I couls refer to in order to get a sense of flavor and pilgrim favorites.

Thanks!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
In the resources section of this site there is a pdf of favourite alburgues you can download.
I use the reviews on Gronze.com, the Wise Pilgrim app to pick alburgues sometimes. Also a lot of the private alburgues have reviews on Booking.Com

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
Thank you everyone, just downloaded both, definitely a little more of the information that I was looking for. I am not planning on trying to meticulously plan anything really, I will mostly be winging it as far as what town to stop in etc. I just wanted to try to have something that would help me decide which albergue to approach first etc. I appreciate all of the support.

Download the trailsmart app. It lists all albergues hotels banks grocery stores plus there addresses and contact info. I used it on the Portuguese coastal route very helpful

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.

I can't figure out how to download and see the list

I recommend Camino Pilgrim app. It is useful not only albergue but also maps, your location, planning.

I'll give the detailed steps on my android phone it may be a little different if you are using something else to view the site.
1. Click on the 3 line icon in the top left.
2. That should bring up the site menu scroll down and click on Resources
3. That should put you on the list of Resources. Pick the third item A selection of favourite alburgues... Click on the link
4. At the top of the item you should now see the download button. Click on this and follow any instructions

Thanks, but there doesn't seem to be a download link for a Mac

Once you’ve clicked on the List you want, do you get the orange Download button on the right, towards the top?
Have you clicked on it?

On my iPad, clicking on Download shows me the Document ... which I then copy to iBooks.
There is only one Download ‘button’ ... it doesn’t specify any device eg a Mac.
