Hello all, looking for some help please! Does anyone know if the albergue at Roncesvalles takes advanced bookings? I've contacted them but not heard back yet. I need to travel from Bayonne to SJDPDP next Saturday morning and should arrive there around 9-9.30am (all going well with train/bus). I assume this is a little later than most will start and I'm worried there may not be space at the albergue in Roncesvalles by the time I get there. Any advice around avoiding this would be much appreciated. Many thanks, Clare

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-

Yes they do. I didn't hear back at all from La Posada, but when I emailed the Albergue they were willing to make one. My debit/credit card will not go, for some reason, when they run it through, and they need a working card to process your reservation for a bed. I'm waiting for a new credit card specifically for travel to do that.

The Albergue and La Posada are two completely different establishments.

Yes, I know. I tried La Posada first - they didn't respond. I tried the Albergue next.

This should get a few answers Beth but i think the albergue is a cold hole.
If you can get to Burgette continue the 4 km.

Clare, you CAN make reservations at Roncesvalles, but they are not necessary.
The place is HUGE and if it fills up, they open the old albergue.
I wouldn't worry about it, myself.
Just go.
