Hi
Oops.meant to post this under Camino Madrid .
it is a bit of an ask, but ....does anybody know which albergues have room options on the CMD.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

You can find an updated list of albergues on the Camino de Madrid at: www.demadridalcamino.org/caminomadrid/albergues-y-algo-mas (the web of the Asociación de Amigos de los Caminos de Santiago de Madrid). I took a quick look and it seems that just the one in Santervás has a private room but read it carefully yourself because I could have overlooked some albergues.

Anyway, regardless of the number of albergues offering private rooms, I'd like to point out that there are few pilgrims on the Camino de Madrid and it wouldn't be too strange if you were the only pilgrim at an albergue some nights or even all nights depending on your dates.

Another point to have in mind is that a big part of the route can easily be made using accommodation other than albergues (e.g.: pensiones, hostales, hotels...).

Walkmag:

I am not sure what season you are walking. I walked in the Spring and 90% of the time I was alone. I do not recall any of the Albergues I stayed in having private rooms. That said, several had more than one room.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I think the convent in Medina de Rioseco had private rooms, but since I never had to share even a big bunk room in an albergue with anyone, it's hard to remember. Oh, I take that back -- in Santa Maria la Real de Nieva, I shared a 4 bed room with two others in the littlel "hobbit house" albergue. But there is a pension/hostal in town if that would be a problem.
