alberque open in november

greetings all, well because im a budget traveler, the alberques are very important to me when i walk the camino, which i will now do again this november 11th. i thought of primotivo, but the snow would be an obstacle, still thinking of the Ingles....but im leaning toward the francis again, walking from astorga, then to finnestere. i thought maby a total of 15 days at the most. it looks to me that the path with the most support year round for the peregrinos to sleep in alberque, is on the Francis. im i correct in this? i really wanted to walk the Portugese, but again im afraid, i would have to spend more money on private hotels, and i can do that on occasion, and i always give when there is donations....but i cant afford 18-25 euro a night. any thoughts from any of you seasoned pilgrims on this matter? also, where would i encounter snow this time of the year on the path i would be walking from astorga? many thanks, and buen camino......

Hola - the Camino Frances will certainly have albergues open. I was on that route in November last year and although some were closed or having days off there was adequate accommodation. Youy mention the Camino Ingles and that is an option from Ferrol - the albergues at Neda, Mino and Bruma will be open I'm sure. In terms of the Camino Portugues I think they will be open from Tui and perhaps before then - you could e mail or call them - look at the on line guide and if there are no contact details for the albergue e mail the tourist office.
