Aljucen semana Santa Via de la Plata I need your help

Last april we were walking the Via de la Plata camino. Arriving in the village of Aljucen we were at the albergue when à representative of the church ask us to help in the celebration of the semana santa. Many pilgrims participate in the procession while carrying the religious statues.

I did a video of the procession and i would like to circulate this video because i do not have the email adress of most of the pilgrims participating.

If you recognise someone participating and that you have their email adresse could you send them this link.

Hi @Jean Ti Welcome to the forum!
So exciting being taken back to Semana Santa in Aljucen .
I was there several days before you I think, and had similar experience. All the places during Semana Santa did their thing. Mérida was spectacular..Cáceres was huge.
As I take my time walking, further up the track, I met Ilse from Belgium (the lady carrying in your video)..and possibly others in your clip (but later in April). They are stronger & faster walkers than me so I was lucky to join several groups along my walk. I spent a few evenings with Ilse and the (at that time ) group from Carcaboso. They went ahead after Baños de Montemayor.
I am in contact with Ilse on whatsapp .
Send me a pm if you like.
Sigh! Sigh! How I loved the Vdlp. I have to return and finish from Tábara when it’s possible for me.
Thanks for posting
Buen camino
