So leave in three days and decided to book .alberguederoncesvalles ,so got into website and €10 per bunk .
Fabolous will book two bunks and dinner I think dinner was €3
So went to pay for TWO people
And comes up owing €44
What the ??
Checked and re checked and each time if I eandeavoured to book through the website €44
Christ going tonne very very expensive to try pre book on line.
Am I doing something wrong ??

Denise, the reservation page is a little confusing regarding prices. The bed only price is 12 Euros. The options listed show prices as eg "+€10" - that means the basic €12 + another €10. So the cost of bed plus dinner is €12 + €10 or €22 per person. So that's how you end up with €44 for two. Not the most straightforward booking site!

A dinner in a restaurant for 3 euros would be a bargain, indeed.
I don't remember the price, but I would not find odd to be charged around 10 euros.

I paid €51 for dinner bed and breakfast in April 2017 for two people. I paid €12 for bed only in August 2016. I don't think you're being shafted
 
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
