I LOVED the movie!! Warts and all! But I did find one geographic boob. After they leave Burgos the pilgrims are sitting about outside this albergue, which is the albergue in Tosantos - about 50km before Burgos! Besides the distinctive building and red window frames you can clearly see the name of the albergue above the doorway.
Anyone see any other anomalies in the movie?

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
My rucksack would sink if it fell in the river :) and it only weighs 6kg

Orisson appears in the middle of the movie in the same montage as the one where the Tosantos albergue appears. Oh, well...

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The dutch guy (Jaust?) agreeing to walk with the annoying Jimmy Nesbitt after meeting him by the haystack. Surely, in reality, he would have just pushed a stack of bales on him and strolled on  .

I thought at one point they showed an overnight stay, with the outside scene being the facade of the church at San Juan de Ortega, but the interior shot being a cloisters (maybe Samos?) which I don't remember inside San Juan de Ortega.

The French police call the city of St Jacques de Compostelle "Santiago".

1. The voice of the hospitelero in SJPP stamping the credential for Daniel is from the same Spanish old lady in Roncesvalles stamping Tom's credentials.

2. Joost's surprised remark that one can do the camino on a bike on top of Sierra de Perdon (4 days into the camino) is kind of late.

They just showed a version of The Way at my church and it is a different version than one I have seen. The youth director said her friend got it as a download. I am hoping someone out there will be able to tell me where this one came from.
In this version, when Martin Sheen is at Virgin de la Barca at the end, Emilio is standing next to him and Martin says "I came to bring you home and now I have nothing" Emilio says, "Yes you do". Then Martin throws the ashes in the sea.
Also when Emilio is telling his Dad that he is not going back to school, in this version Martin says "You mean you are not going back to Berkeley?"
Both of these scenes are not in the versions of the Way I have and I got the Blu Ray, DVD and Amazon digital versions from various people to see if one of them had it. None did.

Can anyone tell me if their was an early version that was not released? Or a different version in other countries? I am in the US.
I did find the seaside scene in this Youtube clip:

Any ideas?
This has been driving me crazy!
Please help me solve this riddle.
