Another newbie packing list… Comments please.

I will start from Pamplona in a week and hopefully walk all the way to SdC.
This is my packing list:

30l backpack
silk liner with pillow case
1 rain jacket
4 pair of liner socks
2 pair of smart wool socks
2 pair of underwear's
1 T-shirt
1 Longsleeved T-shirt
1 pair of zip off pants
1 pair of shorts
1 Fleece
1 Hoodie
1 Cap
1 Towel
3 ziplock bags
Passport
Wallet
Iphone+charger
Flip flops

Please comment. Have I forgot anything?

You may have considered and discarded but I would carry: a small field First-aid kit - blister treatment, plasters (band-aids), web bandage, micropore tape, tweezers, analgesics, antihistamines, eye-bath; a shampoo / body-wash & laundry soap / detergent; water-proof trousers if you are opting for jacket rather than poncho. Personally I would ditch the jacket and take a poncho or better still an umbrella. The arguments around jacket / poncho are much rehearsed on this forum but just to add another penny-worth... the pressure of pack straps on shoulders tends to pump water through jacket fabric - most jackets are proofed to 2-3 atmospheres / 1 to 3 column metres of water - the pumping action of an 8-12k pack over a few sq/cm of surface exceeds this level of proofing. There are those that argue that a wide brim hat provides sun protection that a cap does not. And you might want a guide-book, not so much to navigate the camino, easy enough, but to give you at least some information about where you are and what there is to be seen in that locality. However, Mr Walker, your list is a good as anyone else's, you alone know what suits you for comfort, weight and style. The best piece of advice on this forum, much repeated - travel light and start slowly.

Are you sure about bringing a hoodie and a fleece? You could leave one behind, but all in all you have a good packing list there

Oh..and I forgot to mention..a blister kit of some kind?

Certainly fleece + hoodie seems like extra weight for what is a very light packing list. If that's because you feel the cold, I wonder if silk liner is enough.
Sun cream ?!

Need toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, sunscreen. No need for the hoodie or shorts. I think trekking poles are worth it. Otherwise I commend you on the austerity of your gear.

I have to disagree with the nail clippers - a small pair of good nail scissors will come in handy for so many other things as well and are a brilliant item for the light weight!

Wash kit and tooshbrush? As others. Have added, a map or guide! Some bits of first aid, a hat and a buff and gloves! Pegs to hang clothing, a camera! Sun cream? Some cash and big smile!!!!!! . Buen Camino

Headlamp....With an option for a red light which is less likely to wake others if you want to read late or need to use the bathroom or wake up and start packing at odarkthirty... Start with fewer things, add more if you need it... Chances are good, you won't need it.

Forget the headlamp suggested above. Not user friendly for other pilgrims. I had a tiny led torch that was keyring size. It was more than adequate and weighed nothing.

Headlamp might be handy if you start early and its still dark outside.

• Some food/snack for the first day. Then you don't have to be scouting for that at your starting point.

Excellent list - well done.
I'd also take plasters - compeed for my own personal preference. You can buy it there but it's a bit more expensive.
And a tiny torch. I have a miniature headlamp that weighs almost nothing but does help find those yellow arrows if you start in the dark and some of the Albergues are in pretty dark spots.

Walking poles are another possibility. I didn't think I'd need them but sometimes they were worth their weight in gold.
