Another question re packing for weather

My friend and I will be arriving SJPP Thurs Sept 10 to start across Pyrenees on Sept 11. Right now the weather looks good from what I can glean on internet sites. does anyone in that area trekking have any advice re takign a fleece jacket? I am taking windbreaker and can layer up with shirts. The extra pack weight is getting excessive.

We intend to walk from SJPP to at least Los Arcos, then pick up again at Sarria to walk final km to Santiago de Compostela. I just hate to carry the fleece all the way. I do know about the posting of goods ahead, but will I need the fleece from SJPP to Roncesvalles? Were the albergues warm enough at night?

Many thanks in advance for your advice!

Don't know about SJPP, but in Santiago these days it is about 11-12c in the morning... a fleece jacket sounds like a good idea.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Layering with a long sleeve shirt and jacket would work, too!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
