When researching my first camino I heard that when starting out, many pilgrims chose sangria. Not wanting to go against tradition I got off the plane and went straight to a bar.. three sangria-soaked days later (I was averaging 3km a day) I happened to be discussing how difficult the Camino was with a local in one of the many drinking establishments..
It turns out that when starting out, many pilgrims choose SARRIA.. needless to say, armed with this new information my distances improved significantly and the views were much less blurry..
Hope this helps

I had a similar issue with the baggage transfer service! My first few days on the Camino seemed very cramped and the views were terrible, but once I started walking instead of riding inside my backpack in that van, it was much nicer....

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Glad you got into good habits quite quickly. However, an ice cold peregrino gasolino or two (pint of beer, good for atleast 5 more fast kms.) on a hot day after a few hours of good walking is never wrong.

Hey all. I haven't been on the forum for quite sometime (years probably). I walked the Camino Frances in 2016 and to say it was life changing for me is an understatement. On day 3, at the café at...
I am just back from a few weeks on the Via the la Plata. Since 2015 I have been nearly every year in Spain walking caminoroutes I loved the café con leches. This year I did not like them as much...
