Anyone interested in doing the Camino Frances in June

Time of past OR future Camino
June 2020 Camino Frances. I would like to start in Leon and go from there to Santiago.
I am planning to go in June and do a two week hike starting in Leon. That's the plan, but I am flexible. I hate to go by myself. Anyone interested let me know.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

A warm Welcome to the Forum, Daniel :)

You will be among large numbers of other walkers each day. Some may very well find your company to their liking, so that you will have opportunities to walk with others. You are likely to have a better chance of a compatibility match - in walking styles and temperament - through those Camino encounters, than by a blind meet up with someone here on the Forum.

Hopefully you will be able to at least meet some other Forum members. . . especially if you are spotted with this badge https://www.santiagodecompostela.me/collections/badges/products/pilgrim-forum-member-badge

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
I agree with @davebugg. There will be many, many pilgrims on the Camino in June. No need to prearrange a walking partner that you don't know whether or not you will be compatible with.

However, if you are on Facebook, you can join the Camigas group for women on the Camino.

Hmmm. I first assumed Daniel was the male spelling. ?

So regardless of whether you join the fb group for women or not., I agree that you’ll have no reason to fear being alone on the camino frances in June.
You’ll make as many friends as you want to.
Have a great time.

Buen camino

Oops! You are probably right. I don't know why I assumed a woman wrote this post. 😳

We might bump into you as we start again from Logrono at the end of May  🚶‍♀️ 👣 ✔ If you see someone waving, it MIGHT be me (or not).

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

@davebugg - Thanks for the top tip, I didn't know about the badge, I just followed the link and bought one from Ivar ✔

Hi Daniel
Our paths might cross. I’m planning to start my first Camino from SJDP the last week of May. Haven’t checked how long it will take to get to Leon so you could well be ahead of me.
Bit nervous toi, but that becomes part of my personal challenge (along with a mere 758 km, gulp!)
