Hi All,
Apologies if I am being lazy, but I have limited internet access,
And I can't see much current information regarding what trail conditions are like on the primitivo right now.The forecast for the next while does look like some more rain is on the way...
I have 14 days from Sunday in which to walk the primitivo, from Oviedo, something I've wanted to do for some time now.
If it is particularly difficult at the moment,I can walk from Leon to S de C instead,I'm not especially looking for undue hardship, that said I'm no stranger to long days in the hills either.
I'd appreciate any information anyone could offer in regards to how difficult the paths are right now, snow, mud etc.
I don't mind walking in a few days of rain,I'm Irish,it's in my DNA
Thanks in advance for any advice

A guide to speaking Spanish on the Camino - enrich your pilgrim experience.
The weather forecast for Ast/Gal from Sunday is difficult because the variability is high, but it has been raining a lot for several days and there must be a lot of mud in some sections.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi

The weather looks like being unsettled until early next week before settling down after that.

I maybe starting the Primitivo Thursday 21st April but it is more likely I will finish the northern route by returning to Villaviocsa and walking from there.

I've been following some FB posts and I've seen a lot of rain/snowy days. Galicia and Asturias are like ireland for a reason, they get quite a lot of Rain,

Many thanks for the replies folks, and that weather forecast is encouraging.
I'll give it a go!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hi all! Started today from Oviedo to Escamplero. Now I know, why so many people say it's a bit of a challenge to come out of Oviedo. I got lost just once, but was rescued by a very friendly guy. A...
