I am planning on publishing an anthology compiled of personal accounts of special moments on the camino from pilgrims all over the world. Some already received tell of kindness received from complete strangers; inexplicable stories of 'angels' appearing just when needed most; serendipitous accounts; amazing co-incidences and so forth.
I am appealing to pilgrims to contribute their special moment stories.
Every story included in the book will be credited to the author.
Muchas gracias,
Sil

Thank you to those of you who have contributed a story (or two) to the anthology.
I need many more to compile a book.
The story can be anything to do with the camino - where you first heard about the camino, things that happened, people you met, or when you got home.
It can be a poem or prayer - anything camino related.
There are lots of stories on this forum and I might contact some of you to ask if I can use some of them.

Sil, the story in Pilgrimage to Heresy which takes place in Manjarin is true and based on my own experiences (as is a lot of P2H!). The bicycle pilgrim from Jerusalem was very real (the one who had taken a vow of silence) and so were the comments in the book so please do use this if you wish. He really did seem to disappear and I was assured that the story about the photograph of him which didn't develop was true too...! Tomas' comment was "Es un angel". The only thing different was the name I have given him in the book.
Intriguing.
Best,
Tracy Saunders
