April 2018 - Advice Vigo to Redondela or Porrino to Redondela

Hi, I travel with 3 pals to do a small portion of the portugese route next month. We initially thought to walk from TUI as we thought it was only 25k to Redondela . 25k is the max we wish to do daily. Although reported differently in different places (due to different routes??) it now seems that it is 32k and that is too long. So as we fly into Vigo (were going to travel to TUI to start) We now wonder should we a) start at Vigo and do that Redondela - but I think 15k is a bit short OR travel to O Porrino and walk from there to Redondela - but I think this may be 15K also ?? Can anyone verify route lengths and advise which might be preferable ? Thanks in advance, Kathleen

Hi why not catch the bus from Vigo Airport to Centre of Vigo walk down to Port and start from there? That's about 18 km. Or catch a bus to Baiona but get off when your leaving Vigo like near Celta football ground and walk from there which is about 20 km too? If you want to walk more then find somewhere a little further away.

Bus info, times etc Vigo Airport to centre of Vigo http://www.aena.es/en/vigo-airport/public-transport.html NB in few places it stops near to Bus Station but not at it..you can walk a short distance

Buen camino!
