April Camino

March and April can be the most beautiful months to walk. They can also be treacherous months to walk. Sorry to confuse you but if you do a quick search on this forum you will find a couple of horror stories from pilgrims who walked in March and April and some really happy stories.
It will be cold especially at night, early mornings and in some of the albergues that have no heating.
You could have a lot of rain as it is the start of spring so the paths could be very muddy. There could be snow and blizzards especially in high places so take warm clothing.
Many of the albergues will be closed but at some places you can ask for them to be opened.
Buen Camino!
