April Statistics?

Time of past OR future Camino
Frances, Jul-Aug 05, Frances, Jul-Aug 06, Portugues, Oct 2010
Hi,

I've been checked the archicompostela website for the stats posted by the pilgrims office. They give the breakdown of pilgrims' nationalities, and so on. Does anyone know if and when they'll post the stats from April this year? My other half completed his Camino in April and I'd like to show him the stats to show him where he stood (he's convinced he was the only Brit walking).

Failing that does anyone have another source where I could find this?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

the figures for april were about 6000, for may they have risen to about 15000.
the spanish site does not seem to list the figures for the english pilgrims ( ingles/a) as the % is so small.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Hi Ian and Rosie,
By the end of the year the stats will be broken down under different headings:
Continents, nationality, professions, ages, sex, walk/cycle/horseback, motivation, routes followed and starting points. (I see that 114 UK pilgrims were listed for April - perhaps the CSJ could find out numbers in May for you?)

You will find these figures for 2006 and 2007 on the website.

The 100km to go starting places include:

Ferrol 112km Camino Ingles 2006: 674 2007: 910
Lugo 101km Camino Norte 2006: 461 2007: 451
Sarria 114km Camino Frances 2006: 16 215 2007: 18 969
Tuy 117km Portuguese Caminho 2006: 2 282 2007: 2 760
Ourense 108km Silver Way 2006: 943 2007: 1 053

Muxia/Fisterra is 116km but the only figures given are for those walking to Santiago from Finisterre 2006: 13 2007: 76 (We know from the overcrowding that many more pilgrims walk to Finisterre from Santiago).

From Granada and Cordoba the numbers are very small and actually declined:
Granada 2006: 20 2007: 19
Córdoba 2006: 20 2007: 18
