SJPP is, as usual, buzzing with expectation and anticipation from the peregrinos of many nationalities. Warm and sunny but have been told to expect rain tomorrow.

Tomorrow we set out for Valcarlos - haven't walked that way before. Staying at Gite Ultreia, haven't stayed here before. Seems pretty good to me

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles

Buen camino! I LOVE the Valcarlos route, especially on a nice day, because everyone else has taken the other route. Hope it doesn't rain too much :)

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.

Hi, according to my wife the Valcarlos route is very nice. You will love it .
I wish you well and a Buen Camino, Peter.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone!

The camino is already providing it's magic - my two friends were involved in a bus crash on their way to rendezvous with me in Glasgow, they arrived a little later than expected but came out totally unscathed. Then today my friend left the bag with their 600 euros in at the pilgrims office here in SJPP and didn't realise until 2 hours later. She went back in a panic but it was still there, untouched where she had left it. She definitely has a camino angel looking out for her!

So we'll see what tomorrow brings and take it as it comes

In the silence of reflection miracles happen every day.
A Buen Camino WildPlace.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
That is your FIRST Camino miracle, but not your last, trust me. The Camino Angels are everywhere, and especially when you need them.

Buen Camino!
