I am starting my Camino trip in Leon and was wondering does anybody know the best place to obtain a Pilgrims Passport from this starting point? I would be much obliged if anyone one has any information in relation to my query.

You can get a credential at the small booth in the entrance to the Cathedral in Leon.
If they are closed, you'll get one at the albergue which is not far from the cathedral.

At the entrance to El Burgo Ranero there is a lovely monumental cross, It bears this inscription: "A la memoria de los ninos."
Anybody know the story behind that inscription?
