Arriving late to Roncesvalles

One week until departure & getting a little jittery... All my checklists are checked, pack is packed & practiced with, etc.
Here is one thing that has been bothering me: I am taking the 6pm bus from Pamplona to Roncesvalles, arriving 7:30pm. At that late arrival, what chance have I of finding a place to sleep that night? I haven't been worrying about it so far because in this forum the bus schedule is well known and no one has made a fuss about it getting there in the evening.
But now my arrival is looming & I am getting nervous!

Anxiously,
Rebecca

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Rebecca, It is two years since I was in Roncesvalles, but I know that the day I arrived there, they had a whole section of beds 'roped off' in the albergue at Roncesvalles that we 'earlier' arrivals couldn't use. They were 'reserved' for those arriving on the late bus from Pamplona.

I read a a post on a blog that said about 500 pilgrims a day passed through Roncesvalles during Easter's holy week and they were put up in tents in the field below.
I'm sure they have contingency plans to accommodate large numbers - especially with so many pilgrims actually starting in Roncesvalles.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Thank you both for this reassurance. Of course I have visions of getting off the bus and being the only one not knowing what to do, when in reality I am sure I'll be surrounded by those as clueless as I am!

Thank you again to everyone who contributes to this board. I am looking forward to a great camino- and that includes the crowds, bedbugs, rain, mud, & more! Bring it on!
