Hi! There is some info on the Tours Route section of the forum. I'm afraid I don't know it myself. This posted recently.

Bon chance et Buen Camino!

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Lavidabeuna,

Since you are in Paris now you can pick up a copy of the French guidebook La Via Turonensis published by editions Francois Lepere. See this link --http://www.chemin-compostelle.fr/ It covers everything you need -- route, accommodations, etc.

Bon Chemin and Buen Camino!

Hello Folks,
Really appreciate all the responses. Here's the specific help that I do need -

P.S.: Perhaps some of these questions are answered or the information is online; I cannot read French so I am struggling with these.

A. Are there Alburgues from Bordeaux onwards? Where can I find information about them?

B. Is there a comprehensive Camino guide book with route maps and details of places to stay, in English for the route from Tours/Bordeaux to SJPP and SdC? Most importantly, where can I buy these guidebooks in Paris?

C. I am walking for the first time - and will be without Internet access. I will have a phone though. Is it a good idea to start from Bordeaux or should I stick to SJPP?

D. Can I get the pilgrim's passport in Paris or Bordeaux? If so, where?

I am planning to leave Paris on June 22nd, spend one night in Bordeaux and start from there.
Any tips, ideas will be greatly appreciated!
