Hello,

After two years of planning we arrived in Madrid on Saturday the 2nd and made it to Leon. We took the train. We started our first camino on Sunday. We walked to Villar de Marzife. It was great! We met some nice folks on the camino. Our second day we walked to Astorga. The Cathedral is beautiful. We saw corn fields and passed through interesting town. It was a long day 22 miles! We did it though. Today we walked from Astorga to Foncebadón. It was definitely a little more challenging than yesterday. We went through old towns. Lots of stone buildings. We made it to Foncebadón. We are staying at La Posada de Druida. It is very nice. Here are some pictures of our camino.

Sleep well tonight for tomorrow will be a long day across a rough route.

@mspath. You were right. The two mountains and down hill were changelling. It was a long day 20 miles. The views were beautiful.
