When your camino has ended and you get back home you can keep your camino experience alive by returning to the Refuge-Revke!
I arrived at this cyber-refuge on 2 November 2004 after completing my second camino. It was quite sparse then, with few amenities and very few pilgrims. But, the hospitalero made additions and alterations and it has been 'home' to over 1200 pilgrims who have 'met' each other here to share their experiences, advice and suggestions.
Some arrived at the Refuge excited by the prospect of walking el camino but they were also scared, apprehensive, undecided about where to start, how much money to take with them, what to pack etc,. Many experienced pilgrims return to the refuge after their walk and continue to encourage, motivate and share in the new pilgrim's joy of achieving their goals. In this way, they have an opportunity to give back something to the camino and of keeping our camino experience alive.
