In Hontanas tonight and met some wonderful people, it is great to be back . Temperatures are cooler than last June , everybody has got a bed and it is still fantastic value , €13 for a bed ( it is €10 down the street) and a communal
meal also €13 . Every nationality here and we heard there is another Irish pilgrim around also . We are feeling very privileged and blessed to be back again. Buen Camino

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hontanas, what a gem of a town! I have very fond memories of staying at Albergue Santa Brigita and enjoying a wonderful pilgrim’s dinner with my fellow travelers. We travel through there by bike in September. Although we won’t be spending the night, we’ll certainly stop for refreshment. Buen Camino!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
I hope it’s the same story AK when I’m there following in your footsteps in mid Sep. We see in the forum a lot of scare posts about accommodation. It’s good to hear that it’s not an issue for you.

Nearly in Santiago now and just a few observations, the Camino Frances never looked cleaner , it is a credit to the authorities.
Some idiot from Wales has done untold graffiti damage and surely he should be easily identified from his registrations each night .
The food generally seems better
The Albergues are never completo , though that could change
The people you meet are lovely .
2023 has been great
